Acura, one of the famous car manufacturer has not released how the next generation RL model will differ from previous years, but predictions can be made based on how other Acura vehicles have been changed recently. One possible option is for the RL to be altered as a rear-wheel car with a V8 engine, so that a more powerful version of the RL 2010 V6. Although not yet a standard V8 engine in the sedan, RL 2012 promises to subvert this paradigm.

In the past, the RL has been known for mid-year update that combines the features of the Acura car performance with sedan comfort. RL 2006 showcase Super Handling All-Wheel Drive vehicles can invest all power in one spinning wheel, and is one of the Acura sedan beginning to include the 300 horsepower V6 engine as standard inclusion. This capability allows the Acura RL to successfully compete with rivals BMW vehicles with similar features at a much lower price.
